Allison’s journey in Irish Dancing spans nearly 40 years, beginning with the O’Brien Studio in Sydney, Australia. Following Yvonne O’Brien’s retirement, Allison and her two sisters joined the Walton School, where she has been mentored by Jan Berne SDCRG. Allison had a successful competitive solo dancing career winning six NSW State Championships and four Australian Championships. Allison was also fortunate to be part of many winning ceili and own choreography teams throughout her career as well as compete in the North American and World Championships.

 

In 1998, Allison became one of the original cast members of Gaelforce Dance, enjoying five years of international touring. Afterward, she returned home to complete her Marketing studies and obtained her TCRG in 2006. Currently, Allison has the privilege of teaching at the Walton Studio alongside Jan Berne SDCRG, John Joyce ADCRG, Angela Kyral TCRG, and Jeremy Heggie TCRG.
