WE WELCOME OUR ADJUDICATOR
Adrian Walker ADCRG, BG QLD

Adrian Walker began Irish dancing at a young age, quickly immersing himself in the Australian feis scene. A dedicated and accomplished competitor, Adrian earned multiple titles as Queensland State and Australian National Champion throughout his dancing career.
Adrian’s passion and talent led him to the international stage, where he toured extensively with Michael Flatley’s world renowned productions, including Lord of the Dance, Celtic Tiger, and Feet of Flames.
In 2007, Adrian achieved his TCRG teaching certification and, with a background in Education and Creative Industries, co-founded the Walker School of Irish Dance with his sister, Carmel. Partnering with Kick Dance, he served as the principal teacher of Walker & Kick Irish Dance - one of Queensland’s largest and most successful Irish dancing schools. Under his leadership, the school nurtured regional and national champions in both solo and team categories. Adrian’s personal passion lay in choreographing and coaching teams, figure dances, and freestyle routines for national level competitions.
Having recently retired from competitive instruction, Adrian now holds the position of Dean of Secondary at Clayfield College in Queensland.
His contributions to Irish dance education continue through his role as a certified Grade Examiner (BG).
Over the past decade, Adrian has adjudicated feiseanna across Australia, New Zealand, England, Ireland, and Europe. In 2024, he had the distinguished honour of adjudicating at the World Irish Dancing Championships in Glasgow. He is sincerely grateful to the McAleer School for the opportunity to judge in Melbourne and extends heartfelt congratulations to the organising committee, teachers, and dancers for their dedication, enthusiasm & achievements.
