Allison Bennett has been involved in Irish Dancing for nearly 40 years when she commenced dancing with the  O’Brien Studio in Sydney, Australia. Yvonne O’Brien’s retirement of teaching resulted in Allison and her two sisters moving to the Walton School where she has been coached and mentored by Jan Berne SDCRG. Allison had a  successful competitive solo dancing career winning six NSW State Championships and four Australian Championships. Allison was also fortunate to be part of many winning ceili and own choreography teams throughout her career as well as compete in the North American and World Championships.
In 1998, Allison was one of the original cast members selected for Gaelforce Dance and enjoyed five years of touring the world. She returned home to complete her studies in Marketing and gained her TCRG in 2006. Allison is privileged to teach with the Walton Studio alongside Jan Berne SDCRG, John Joyce ADCRG, Angela Kyral TCRG and Jeremy Heggie TCRG.
